Seeking young woman for bike trailer build

Deadline 18th March midnight

 

As part of the project ‘Speeding Backwards’, artist Kyna Hodges is looking for someone under 30 who would like to gain experience in building, the project will construct a custom bike trailer to house a vintage photography studio. The intern must be available for 5-6 days in March or early April and be willing to travel to the site of the build in Auchencairn. Travel and other expenses will be covered including a small fee.

No building experience necessary.

'Go See' trip to Dublin

Photography Intern

Seeking a young photographer in April 2020

Deadline 18th March midnight

 

As part of the Speeding Backward project,  Blueprint100 are delighted to offer one young photographer under the age of 30 an opportunity to work with artist Kyna Hodges. Kyna specialises in one of the oldest photographic techniques called ‘wet plate collodion’.  The chosen candidate will learn how to use this technique along with other, more modern photography skills and gain experience facilitating workshops and working with young people. You must be available for at least 3 days in April to travel to a variety of locations. Travel and other expenses will be covered including a small fee.

Building Arts Programme

The Building Arts Programme aims to provide a platform for students to explore the role of craft within our built environment. Course fees are fully funded, plus monthly bursary of £1400 provided.
